Govt to improve agricultural production outflow system
Luanda, ANGOLA, June 14 - The government announced measures to improve outflow system of agricultural production in the country.,
During the 6th session of Cabinet Council’s Economic Commission, it announced the Execution of the Integrated Rural Trade Development and Implementation Project 2018-2022.
The initiative aims to encourage domestic producers to increase production, create surpluses and boost exports.
The document was approved by the Cabinet Council's Economic Commission on Thursday.
The project will be implemented by the private sector, regulated and overseen by Angolan State.
"It will be the private sector to implement the solutions, both from the point of view of improving production and financing," said Trade Minister Jofre Van-Dúnem Júnior.
The minister was speaking to the press at the end of the 6th session of Economic Commission, stressing the role of the private sector in the success of the process.
