SME detains 10 illegal foreigners
Malanje, ANGOLA, June 8 - Ten foreign nationals, eight from the Democratic Republic of Congo, one from Guinea-Bissau and one from Guinea Conakry, have been detained in the province of Malanje for the past seven days by the Foreign and Migration Service (SME) for illegal stay in the national territory.,
Following the SME monitoring actions, a national citizen was arrested for helping with illegal immigration, according to the weekly report of the provincial delegation of the Ministry of the Interior from 29 May to 5 June.
On the other hand, the document states that in the last seven days the National Police registered 55 crimes of a different nature, with special emphasis on crimes against people, against property, order and public tranquility in the municipalities of Cacuso, Cangandala, Massango , Kiwaba Nzoji, Mucari and Cahombo, culminating in the arrest of 40 suspected perpetrators.
