Justice Ministry provides minimum, urgent services despite strike

Luanda, ANGOLA, May 31 - The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights said on Wednesday, it has created conditions to provide minimum and urgent services of justice nationwide despite the five-day strike going until June 1. ,

The justice services have been halted since the onset of the strike called by the Angolan Justice Officials Trade Union (SOJA), which expected to stop the issuance of birth certificate, ID card, release of defendants and other services.  

 

In a press release, the Ministry explains that it has created conditions to provide minimum and urgent services to respond the main needs of the people.

 

It adds that the weddings celebrations that have been scheduled for this week, issuance of ID card, urgent criminal record and documents certification are services that are also being provided.   

 

However, the Ministry of justice reiterated its commitment to realistically and responsibly seek solutions to sort out the embarrassments and challenges, despite the strike or any other manifestation of the employees.
