Steemit Finally Encountered A Threat
After the blockchain technology was created, so many blockchain based systems have been created, and these systems were created for different purposes. Now, over time, some flaws have been discovered in these systems, and while some systems have corrected these flaws, some have refused to correct these things, and this is because they are profiting from these flaws. One of such systems created is Steemit.
Steemit is a blogging and social media network that was created using the blockchain network. It was launched in 2016 and has its own tokens. How Steemit Works.
Steemit and Reddit have some things in common in terms of functionality. The platform functions using crypto tokens. Steemit’s Problem
Apart from the absence of equality on the platform, in that some people with more Steem Power can influence votes over ordinary members, another problem is the compensation period attached to posts. Steemit has a 7 day period after which the content creator will no longer be able to receive compensations, no matter the number of recommendations, shares, comments or upvotes the post receives after the expiration of the compensation period. This is another major problem that has discouraged so many content creators.
