This was confirmed Thursday in Luanda by the Egyptian ambassador to Angola, Khaled Hassan, saying that it is fundamental in this strategy to ensure mutual and regular visits between MPs and Ministers of both countries.
The diplomat said it is important that the two parliaments work together to produce documents or pass laws that can strengthen the development of both countries and peoples.
The diplomat told journalists after the meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.
He also stressed that Egypt has a great interest in intensifying relations.
The Angolan Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, also received the ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Angola, Esther Cardenas, with whom he analyzed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The Cuban diplomat, accredited last February by President João Lourenço, said that she received words of comfort and solidarity from the Angolan president, as a result of the crash of Boeing 737-200 airplane, in the municipality of Boyeros, near Havana, capital of Cuba, killing more than 100 people.
The two interlocutors discussed the need for a new impetus to parliamentary relations, as well as the recent parliamentary elections in that country.
Still on Thursday, the Speaker of the National Assembly received the Argentine ambassador to Angola, Luís Bellando.
The Argentine diplomat said that bilateral relations will see a new impetus in the near future.
