This LED beacon is charged by a 30-watt solar panel with a 16-amp rating, ideal for applications requiring an effective obstacle, hazard or warning light.

The Larson Electronics SPLED-CL1B-MOD1 Solar Powered LED Beacon is a Class I, innovative lighting solution suited for applications requiring a high visibility strobing beacon capable of stand alone operation. The solar panel is weatherproof and designed to catch the maximum amount of sunlight possible when properly mounted. This solar panel is configured to operate non-stop 24/7, day/night with photocell, motion sensor for security purposes, on/off switch for manual operation, or flying leads for operators to connect to user provided external switches. This Class I, Solar Powered LED beacon (strobing) light produces a brilliant strobing flash that is visible for distances of up to one mile. A 14.4 watt LED strobe light is powered by two 8aH sealed lead acid battery that is automatically recharged during daylight hours by a 30 watt solar panel. The day/night and motion sensor is programmed to active the solar panel in the evening and to shut it off during the day, activating the LED light when ambient lighting falls below 1 lux. The motion sensor will activate the panel upon detecting movement within range of the panel. The Class I, LED beacon offers several different mounting options. A standard 100lbs grip magnetic mount, 1” NPT pipe mount and a surface mount option. This unit can operate during daylight or night time operations.

The SPLED-CL1B-MOD1 is a 14.4-watt solar powered LED strobe light, powered by two 8aH lead acid batteries automatically recharged during daylight hours by a 30-watt solar panel. The LED lamp features 30 different strobing flash patterns that can be seen for more than one mile, and comes in amber, white, blue, green or red colors. The beacon can receive a remote 24V DC signal for operation if desired and is equipped with a 10-foot whip with a blunt-cut end for operators to send the signal to.

The LED beacon is constructed of a waterproof black powder coated die cast base containing a fully potted circuit board. Protecting the LEDs is a polycarbonate lens that is shock resistant. The solar panel is weatherproof to protect against harsh outdoor conditions. The SPLED-CL1B-MOD1 beacon comes with a choice of three mount styles: a 100-pound magnet for temporary mounting, a 1” NPT pipe mount and a surface mount.

The solar panel is weatherproof and takes just 5 hours to recharge the battery. The panel is configured to operate 24/7 day/night with photocell, includes a motion sensor for security purposes, an on/off switch for manual operation, or flying leads for operators to connect their own switches. The day/night motion sensor is programmed to activate the solar panel in the evening and shut it off during the day and will activate the panel when movement within range is detected. The two 8aH sealed lead acid batteries power the LED beacon for 12 hours and are contained within the solar panel.
