Luanda, ANGOLA, April 22 - Angolan ambassador to Belgium George Rebelo Pinto Chikoti presented Thursday his copy of credential letters to the head of protocol of the Belgian Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Françoise Gustin. ,

 

The ceremony, which took place in the Egmont Palace, brought together diplomats from the Belgian Foreign Ministry and the Angolan diplomatic mission.

 

Appointed on February 7 this year by President of Republic João Lourenço, the diplomat is expected to present credentials to King Philip of Belgium.

 

A doctorate in advanced studies at the University of Paris XII and international relations at the University of Ottawa, Georges Chikoti becomes the tenth ambassador to head the Angolan Diplomatic Mission in Belgium, inaugurated in 1977.
