Border police foil Illegal entry bid
Mbanza Kongo, ANGOLA, April 2 - National police in northern Zaire province have thwarted an attempt by illegal immigrants to enter the Angolan territory through the border with the neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

As a result, 344 citizens were detained in Angola’s northern Zaire province on border with DRC.
According to a note from the command of national police in Zaire, 67 (seven more) border breaches were notified in above period.
Of which 59 of illegal entry, seven related to smuggling of fuel and one case linked to the illegal fishing.
The police also seized two artisanal vessels and 11, 285 liters of fuel, the source added.
