HONGKONG, HONGKONG, HONGKONG, March 30, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Cryptocurrency exchange Midex decided to organize an extraordinary experiment. The company came to an agreement with the directors of various offices from different countries that they would propose to their employees the option of receiving their salary in cryptocurrency. The reactions of the workers would be captured by camera and transformed into a unified video file.

It would be quite interesting to see how ordinary office workers would react to this if they were proposed to draw their salary or some part in cryptocurrency. Therefore, Midex decided to examine how they would respond to this.

There were 50 participants in this experiment from 5 international organisations, which were related to different types of business that were not connected with cryptocurrency.

"To organize such an experiment was a pleasure for us. In the begining we wanted to cover employees from only one office but the project was so attractive and exciting that we decided to enlarge it" - says Ely Tolen, international communication director of Midex. "Moreover, it was positively correlated for an enhancement in representativity. It was really spectacular to observe how people reacted to proposals of getting a payment in cryptocurrency. By the way, we were astonished that lots of people agreed, though in small proportion, to get a part of their salary in digital currency. Certain people were upset that it was just an experiment. It is noticed that a part of the workers refused from this as they were presented in final video, though the majority agreed with pleasure".

In result of the social experiment, 36% of those surveyed were not against the proposal of getting a part of their salary in cryptocurrency. Two persons of them were ready to get a full salary only in digital currency.
64% of respondents were inclined to traditional means of payment in full volume.
