President holds private visit to USA

Luanda, ANGOLA, March 26 - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left the country early Monday afternoon for a private visit to the United States of America.,

The information was released today, in a press release, by the Civil House of the President of the Republic.

João Lourenço assumed the leadership of the Angolan State on September 26 of last year.

He is the third President of the country since independence in November 1975.
