Moxico plans to transform wood

Dundo, ANGOLA, March 15 - The governor of Moxico, Gonçalves Muandumba, intends to transform the province into the capital of the transformation of wood and the manufacture of furniture. ,

 

This is a bet on the use of wood, one of the riches of the region, said Governor Gonçalves Muandumba to the press on Thursday at the end of the meeting of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers that took place in the city of Dundo, Lunda North.

On the exploitation of wood in Moxico, the governor believes that it must be done in a sustainable way and accompanied by the creation of jobs.

Along with Gonçalves Muandumba, the governors of Lunda Sul, Ernesto Kiteculo, and the host Ernesto Muangala also participated in the meeting.

The governor of Lunda Sul, Ernesto Kiteculo, said that one of the concerns of the province he runs relates to the education sector.

He said that the province lacks at least one thousand classrooms, to include 16,000 students in the school system.

Speaking to the press at the end of the session of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers, the host governor expressed his satisfaction that the province of Lunda Norte was chosen to host the meeting.
