Today Commissioner Cecilia Malmström addressed Amfori – a global business association for open and sustainable trade.
She discussed the relationship between the private sector and sustainable trade, how their efforts feed into development and reducing poverty, and the future role of trade in building sustainable development.
“A business looking to the future should see that earning trust is just as important as earning profits”, Commissioner Malmström said.
