Botswana's Foreign Affairs minister arrives in Luanda
Luanda, ANGOLA, March 9 - The Botswana's minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, arrived early this Friday in Luanda to deliver a message to the Angolan president, João Lourenço. ,
ANGOP learnt that the Botswana head of diplomacy, who is due to return to Gaborone also this Friday is expected to be received in an audience by the Angolan Head of State and meet with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Botswana is currently part of the list of four African countries which Angola recently signed a tourist visa exemption based on diplomatic reciprocity principle.
The two countries share diplomatic relations since 1976 and are members of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) and African Union (AU).
