Luanda, ANGOLA, March 3 - The jurist Rui Ferreira was appointed last Friday, by President João Lourenço, Chief Justice of the Angolan Supreme Court. ,

This information was released by the Civil Office of the Angolan President, through a press note.

 

According to the note, the Head of State made the appointment after analysing well the proposals made by the Higher Council of the Judicial Magistracy in regard to the filling of that position, which was vacant for a sometime.

 

Before this job, Rui Ferreira was until recently the Presiding Judge of the Angolan Constitutional Court.
