The Federal Reserve Board on Tuesday announced its approval of the notice under section 4 of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 by Associated Banc-Corp, Green Bay, Wisconsin, to acquire Bank Mutual Corporation ("BMC"), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and thereby indirectly acquire BMC's subsidiary savings association, Bank Mutual, Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
