Country experiencing new era - Catholic prelate

Saurimo, ANGOLA, December 27 - The Archbishop of the Saurimo Diocese, in the eastern Lunda Sul Province, José Manuel Imbamba, on Tuesday in this city admitted that Angola is now living a new era as a nation, as a result of the reforms taking place in the country. ,

Speaking to ANGOP, José Imbamba commended the efforts being made by the Angolan Executive towards the reformation and renovation of the state.  

 

According to the Catholic prelate, the challenges of guaranteeing for Angolan the enjoyment of a dignifying life demands effort and commitment from all Angolans.  

 

He advised the members of the new Executive, led by President João Lourenço, to be courageous enough to work for the common good, thus avoiding corruption, nepotism and the promotion of impunity.  

 

“It is necessary that the vices of corruption, nepotism and impunity be once for all done away with, so that sustainable development can be a fact in our country, which will enable Angolans to feel proud about their nation”, emphasised the Catholic prelate.
