Angola, Zimbabwe boost economy cooperation

Luanda, ANGOLA, December 18 - Angola and Zimbabwe, Southern African Development Community (SADC) member countries, decided Monday to boost their economic cooperation and maintain privileged ties in the political field. ,

 

This was confirmed by minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe, Subusiso Moyo, at the end of an audience granted to him by Angolan head of State, João Lourenço.

 

Subusiso Moyo, who delivered a message from Emmerson Mnangangwa to his Angolan counterpart, said that Zimbabwe is busy introducing biometric data to ensure voter registration.

 

On November 3 this year, the military took over Zimbabwe, placing President Robert Mugabe under house arrest and detaining senior government officials.

Emmerson Mnangangwa was sworn in as President of Zimbabwe for a transitional period.
