Sheikh Hamdan ends visit to Angola

Luanda, ANGOLA, December 8 - The delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), headed by Sheik Hamdan Bin Xayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, on Friday concluded a two-day official visit to Angola, which aimed to define the framework of strategic partnership for bilateral cooperation between the two countries.,

In Luanda, official delegations of both countries met on Thursday to explore the possibilities of strengthening economic relations between the two states in the areas of Agriculture, Renewable Energies and Mining.

 

Angolan Foreign minister Manuel Augusto said that given the level of development, the United Arab Emirates is a potential partner to accelerate Angola's reconstruction and development.

 

In the Angolan capital, Sheik Hamdan was received in an audience by President João Lourenço, with whom he discussed aspects related to the reinforcement of the cooperation between Angola and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the new paradigms for the future bilateral partnership.

 

Sectors such as oil, geology and mining (diamonds) and transports currently dominate the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two states.
