New FCA Mopar Parts Distribution Center Opens
Today, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) opened a parts distribution center in Romulus, Michigan. The plant will produce over 45 million parts per year, and will provide parts to smaller regional distributors across the country.
The distribution center will bring over 100 jobs and a $10.4 million investment to metro-Detroit. The facility features state of the art manufacturing technology and is LEED certified.
This is the second new parts distribution center FCA has built in the United States this year. The other facility, located in Virginia, opened in April. FCA has created 170 jobs and invested $22.6 million in American parts distribution this year.
