Leading Women Professionals Return from an Exchange Program in the U.S.

Mrs. Loveline Enjeh and Mrs. Persis Manjo Mbangsi, two professionals from Cameroon who recently participated in the three-week long International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in United States visited the Embassy to share the highlights of their experience with the Public Affairs staff. “The program was very informative. We could see American journalists at work. This experience will help me a lot in my career” said Loveline Enjeh, English desk editor at Vision 4 Television, and participant in the project “Media Professionalism.”

For Persis Manjo Mbangsi, Process Supervisor at ALUCAM and participant in the project entitled “Hidden No More: Empowering Women Leaders in STEM,” the most important thing was “meeting 47 amazing women in STEM from around the world and discussing how to overcome common challenges.” Mrs. Manjo has decided to launch the “Hidden no More Cameroon” platform to highlight achievements of Cameroonian women and girls in science and technology. Acting Public Affairs Officer Ryan Grizzle congratulated both participants for their renewed commitment to be leaders in their respective fields and encouraged them to be ole-models for the younger generation.
