Luanda, ANGOLA, November 16 - The institutionalization of arbitration, through the creation of specialized centers, offers the parties greater trust and institutional credibility, dignity of the structure made available, the intervention of technicians with specific training and the existence of regulations.,
This statement is from the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Manuel Monteiro Queiroz, during his speech at the 6th International Conference of Arbitration in Luanda, held this Thursday with the participation of experts from Angola, Brazil, Portugal and Cape Verde , including judges, lawyers, university teachers.
The government official was speaking of the standardization of the procedures adopted in the arbitration, in accordance with the best international practices.
According to Francisco Queiroz, the training of the arbitrators and the definition of their ethical and deontological duties are therefore of particular importance and should be given due attention by the responsible entities.
"The more rigorous the criteria for the selection of arbitrators and technicians assigned to the organization of the arbitration procedure, the greater the efficiency of their work and the degree of satisfaction of all those who request this route for the composition of their disputes," said the minister.
