Mozambican interior minister jets in for bilateral cooperation

Luanda, ANGOLA, November 15 - Mozambique's Interior minister Jaime Basílio Monteiro started Wednesday a four-day visit to Angola aimed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of public security, Angop has learnt. ,

 

According to an Interior Ministry’s press release, the visit will enable the Mozambican official to evaluate the cooperation on security and internal order between the two states.

 

The programme include the signing of visa exemption agreement in ordinary passports to increase the migratory flow between the two peoples.

 

The agenda also features meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Ângelo Veiga Tavares.

 

Visits to the Provincial Command of Luanda and the Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences, are also part of the minister’s visiting agenda.

 

The visiting minister is also expected to meet with Mozambican students attending the police schools in Angola.
