Media managers pledge improvements
Luanda, ANGOLA, November 14 - More engagement in journalistic approach, better resource management and staff training to face the future challenges, are among the main goals set by the managers of the State-run Media houses.

The pledges came at the swearing in ceremony by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Tuesday.
Speaking to the press, the new CEO of Angola News Agency (ANGOP), Josué Isaías, said the company has many challenges ahead, stressing the need of a deep training of staff to turn the firm into a true multimedia Agency.
Speaking on the sidelines of the ceremony, the manager said that ANGOP has always played the role of shaping the country's journalism agenda.
"We also have the challenges of the new changes the country experiences. We are engaged in working to face the new times," he said.
While, the CEO of Television Station (TPA) José Guerreiro, stated that the new challenges entail to face the new situation of the country with greater dynamism.
Describing the challenges as crucial, the CEO expressed confidence in the ability of the professionals to deal successfully with the challenges.
In turn, Marcos António Quintino Lopes of National Radio Station (RNA), vowed to conduct a study with a view to defining priorities in terms of the tasks.
Still, the CEO of News Paper (Edições Novembro), pledged to do his best to ensure a more plural, open and closer to citizen press.
The Media CEOs were appointed by president João Lourenço on November 9, 2017 for five year term.
