Block 15/06 yields 150,000 barrels per day

Luanda, ANGOLA, November 6 - Angolan offshore-based block 15/06 has put its daily production at 150,000 barrels, as results of global investment of around USD11 billion by the contractor group. ,

 

The data were provided on Monday by the Executive Director of ENI, operator of Block 15/06, Cláudio Decalzi.

 

Decalzi released the information at the end of an audience granted by the President of Republic, João Lourenço.

 

According to him, the meeting with the Angolan Head of State discussed the issues related to ENI's investment in the oil and gas sectors in Angola.

 

The meeting also approached the matters related to refineries based in Luanda and Lobito (coastal Benguela province).

 

Development of liquefied gas sector or simply LNG, was also part of the audience’s the president granted to the oil official.

 

Angolan offshore Block 15/06 is operated by the Italian ENI (60%), with partners Sonangol P & P (15%) and TOTAL (15%), Falcon Oil Holdings Angola SA (5%) and Statoil Angola Block 15 / 06 (5%).
