Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance duties required to maintain and repair facility assets including buildings, structures, machinery and process equipment.  Necessary skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and preventive and predictive maintenance techniques. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plant and facility assets • Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, blowers, and pumps including seal replacement • Perform preventative maintenance of pumps, blowers, and conveyors • Repair and installation of general purpose piping including replacement of steam traps and sight glasses • Responsible for screener and filter maintenance • Responsible for supporting operations including temporary pumps, hose testing, etc.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience • 3+ years of general purpose maintenance required • 2 year technical degree preferred

Relevant Skills/Experience • Basic machining skills including operation of horizontal lathe and vertical milling machine • Ability to perform precision measurements with tools and devices such as micrometer, dial caliper, dial indicator • Understanding of pump and compressor alignment practices • Ability to perform failure analysis on failed parts and equipment • Understanding and implementation of machinery lubrication best practices • Basic Pipefitting and Tube Bending • Structural welding (AWS D1.1) • Experience in performing basic electrical functions such as electrical verification and motor disconnect (480V and below) • Basic Controls/PLC Experience • Mobile equipment certification including JLG, forklift, and carry deck operation • Basic planning experience and/or familiarity CMMS systems is a plus • Willingness to work extended hours, particularly during scheduled outages. • Willingness to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and willingness to participate in weekend and holiday coverage
