Angola and Spain prepare agreement on security

Luanda, ANGOLA, November 1 - Angola and Spain are due to sign a cooperation agreement on security and public order, the Spanish ambassador Manuel Ruigomez, said Wednesday in Luanda. ,


The diplomat said so to the press at the end of his accreditation by the Angolan Head of State João Lourenço.


He said that in order to intensify the bilateral cooperation between the two countries the European country is preparing a visit to Angola by prime minister,  Mariano Rajoy for next year.


Also accredited on Wednesday by the Angolan Head of State, Russian ambassador Vladimir Tarorov expressed his country's willingness to increase cooperation with the Angolan State.


The increase of the partnership between the two countries include the economics, telecommunications development and the banking sectors.


Angolan Statesman also accredited Carlos dos Anjos of São Tome e Principe, who also expressed his country's availability to strengthen ties of friendship  with Angola.


João Lourenço also received credentials from the ambassador of Cabo Verde, Jorge de Figueiredo.


Speaking to the press, the Cabo Verde’s diplomat also expressed the intention to expand the cooperation in the sectors of education, tourism and agriculture.


The ceremony was also attended by the Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, Manuel Augusto, who stressed the importance of cooperating with the countries whose diplomats were accredited Wednesday.
