Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the routine accumulation, visibility and review of spending and the prompt isolation of related issues.  In addition, this position also verifies the proper accumulation of product flows through our production areas on a daily basis and is responsible for the verification of month end accumulations and reporting.  

Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to) ensuring that project and capital spending is properly accounted for in accordance with both Corporate and Local policies and procedures.  This position remains in constant contact with internal (Accounting and IT Department; Operations, local T & D, etc.) and external (Corporate Finance and Audit) employees to report the latest forecast plans, budget changes, spills or losses in the plant and to ensure the above are recorded accurately.

Maintain good communications with peers, and provide assistance as needed to ensure departmental functions are aligned between all plant departments.

This position requires an Accounting designation or equivalent (e.g. MBA).
