Luanda, ANGOLA, October 30 - The MPLA has encouraged the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP) to continue to guarantee citizens' access to rigorous, free and responsible information that ensures pluralism of ideas and free expression, cultivating the exercise of freedom based on the Constitution and in the law.,

In a message on the occasion of Angop's 42nd anniversary, which is being marked on Monday, the Secretariat of the MPLA's Political Bureau urges that the informational rigor of the national news agency be extended to Angolan communities abroad as well as to different sectors of the community International.

The ruling party’s Secretariat of the Political Bureau addresses to its Board of Directors and workers' collective the most heartfelt congratulations, in the fulfillment, successfully , of his honorable mission.

At this moment of anniversary, the MPLA reiterates its intention to continue, through the Executive and within the scope of its Government Program, to continue efforts to modernize the National News Agency, within the framework of its essential role in the collecting and diffusion information in its different forms.
