Angola Central Bank governor sacked
Luanda, ANGOLA, October 27 - The Angolan president João Lourenço Friday in Luanda sacked the governor of the Central Bank (BNA), Walter Filipe da Silva.

According to a press release from the Civil Affairs Office to the Presidency of the Republic that reached Angop on Friday, the BNA governor was sacked on his own request.
The source adds that the president appointed BNA governor José Lima Massano.
The head of State also sacked Mário Edison Gourgel Gavião from the post of executive director of the Capitals Market Commission (CMC) and appointed him CEO of the said Commission, the note says.
Edna Nogueira Fernandes da Silva Kambinda has been appointed executive director of the Capitals Market Commission.
According to the press release, president João Lourenço also appointed Abraão Pio dos Santos Gourgel as CEO of the Angola Development Bank (BDA), while Mário Jorge de Alcântara Monteiro has been nominated BDA executive director.
The president also appointed Amândio Vaz Velho and José Aníbal Rocha as BDA non-executive directors.
