Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for identifying bad actors and threats to the production business plan with prime focus on Asset Reliability. This position is also responsible for the optimization of Asset Maintenance Strategy using the RCMII principles to minimize the asset life cycle cost. This role provides a subject matter expert coaching in supporting the Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Modeling, Standardization of downtime codes, Asset key Performance Indicators and Asset Management Optimization.

The Reliability Engineer must have a proven ability to lead and develop the department and its’ staff members by demonstrating superior skills in coaching and mentoring.  The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Maintenance Engineering discipline, and a Professional Engineer designation with 4-6 years’ experience in a reliability engineering team based environment.  The candidate must possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office, RCMII, RCA, FMEA, CBM and Reliability Modeling, Oracle, SAP or any other EAM systems. Strong experience in Mining, Heavy Equipment or Potash business is considered an asset.  

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
