1. In relation to the large number of casualties arising from terror attacks against Egyptian Security Forces in El Wahat desert, Egypt on October 20 (local time), Japan expresses its sincere condolences to their families and extends its heartfelt sympathy to the injured.
2. Terrorism cannot be justified for any reason, and Japan firmly condemns such act of terrorism. Japan expresses its strong solidarity with the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and its people.
