Angolan president meets DRC counterpart
Brazzaville, ANGOLA, October 19 - Angolan head of State João Lourenço met Thursday in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Joseph Kabila, with whom he analysed the issues of bilateral and regional interest.

The two Statesmen did not speak to the press at the end of the meeting.
João Lourenço and Joseph Kabila are taking part in the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government on the International Conference on Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) in Brazzaville.
Under ICGLR, the participants agreed to hold an 8th high-level meeting of the regional supervision mechanism for peace, security and cooperation framework for the DRC and the Great Lakes region, today in the Congolese capital.
Angola hands over the chair of ICGLR to Republic of the Congo, after two consecutive terms at the helm of the organisation.
