Foreign minister swears in newly appointed staffs

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 14 - Six new board members of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, recently appointed by the new incumbent, Manuel Augusto, were sworn in last Friday, at the head-office of the institution, in Luanda. ,

The inaugurated officials are Agostinho de Carvalho dos Santos Van-Dúnem (general secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry), António Luís de Sousa Lima Veigas (general inspector), Salvador Allende Carvalho Bom Jesus (director of the minister’s Office), Cecília Caldeira da Conceição do Rosário Baptista (general director of the Institute for Angolan Communities Abroad and Consular Services).

 

The minister also invested Judite Albino da Costa as the deputy director of the Institute for Angolan Communities Abroad and Consular Services, and  Stela Maria da Graça e Sousa Santiago as deputy director for Migration, Notary and Consular Services.

 

On the occasion, minister Manuel Augusto called on the sworn in staffs to continue with the positive work of the institution, having as basis the spirit of unity and collaboration.  

 

The ceremony also served to present the secretaries of State for External Relations, Tete António, and for International Co-operation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Custódio Vieira Lopes, who were also recently appointed by the Head of State.
