Parliament first legislative session programme of IV legislature approved

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 10 - Members of the National Assembly (AN) Board approved on Tuesday the program of the 1st legislative session of the IV legislature of the hemicycle, which will be marked by the State of the Nation address by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.,

According to the 1st secretary of the Board and Parliament's spokeswoman, Emília Carlota Dias, who  told journalists at the end of the meeting, the solemn session, to be held on October  16th  in Luanda, will also be marked with the speech of the Speaker of National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

Emilia Carlota Dias also said that the meeting of the members of the Board of this body also will address the issues of the constitution of Parliament's internal bodies, namely its specialized committees, standing committee, board of directors, women's parliamentary group and national friendship groups and movement of MPs.

She added that the meeting for the constitution of said internal organs of the National Assembly has not yet a marked date.

The meeting, that was chaired by the AN speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, was attended by Presidents of  Parliamentary Groups of  MPLA, UNITA and CASA-CE , as well as the representatives of PRS and FNLA.
