Armed forces committed to organisation and discipline

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 4 - Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) must keep focusing on discipline and organisation level to match the country's expectations, said Wednesday in Luanda the head of General Directorate for Patriotic Education of General Staff, Gen. Baltazar Diogo Cristóvão. ,

 

 

Gen. Baltazar Diogo Cristóvão said so at a presentation ceremony of the new commander of Luanda Military Region, Lt. General Luís Domingos Manuel "Piteu".

 

On behalf of the Chief of Staff of FAA, General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, the senior officer asked the staff to support the new commander in a harmonious work, with discipline and mutual cooperation to ensure the accomplishment of the tasks.

 

He said that the new commander will work, in cooperation with the National Police, on the tasks, including in combative preparedness.

 

 

In turn, Lt. General Luís Domingos, who acknowledged the tough task to manage the Luanda Military Region, said that he relies on the support from his staff.

 

The ceremony was attended by general officers, senior officers, captains, sergeants, soldiers, civilian workers, among other entities.
