ATLANTA, GEORGIA, UNITED STATES, June 15, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Shalyn Vanderhorst, an 11-year-old Atlanta student has been rewarded for her outstanding academic record. In 2017 alone, Shalyn has been the head of the student council, student of the month four times, and athlete of the month twice. She even lead the student address for her 5th grade graduation. Shalyn has been affiliated with Duke University’s TIP program since the age of 9, has some of the highest test scores in the country and will be attending Duke University’s prestigious summer program, which is only offered to star students, for a week in June 2017. “I have worked so hard and I am so excited to have been chosen. Shalyn is also an avid reader and writer and is thrilled to announce the release of her journal entitled the “Chase The Dream Journal” for her new Doll and book company known as Suite Dream Dollz. She owns the business with her 21-year-old sister, Shanya. The Suite Dream Dollz are five-goal minded courageous girls determined to chase their Suite Dream. The first release is a journal which includes pages for writing and journaling. It also has fun activities and affirmations to inspire and teach girls how to love themselves.
