EFSA panel renewal 2018: genetically modified organisms
Are you an expert in microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, allergenicity or ecotoxicology? Do you have experience in food and feed safety assessment, molecular characterisation and the evaluation of environmental risks? Would you like to put your expertise at the service of hundreds of millions of European consumers? Then you should consider applying as an expert for EFSA’s Scientific Panel on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs).
What does the GMO Panel do?
The Panel assesses the risks from GMOs to human and animal health, and the environment. The Panel's work mainly concerns genetically modified plants and micro-organisms. Panel members participate in the safety evaluation of GMOs before they are considered for market approval in the EU. See the dedicated page for more detail.
