He completed his internship and pediatric residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn. He completed his fellowship in Neonatology at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Amaram is a professional member of American Academy of Pediatricians.

His interests include newborn and toddler care, asthma and caring for special needs children or those with complex medical conditions such as Down’s syndrome, autism, and former premature infants. He is also experienced in doing procedures like circumcisions. He treats common illnesses of infants and children such as cold & flu, asthma, allergies, eating disorders, diabetes, head lice, and vaccinations.

Dr. Amaram provides routine well child and same day sick appointments for patients from birth to 18 years of age. Visits for illness can be scheduled for the same day and well visits can be scheduled in advance. He is married with two sons.
