The Methanol Institute (MI), along with partners the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), and the U.S. Energy Security Council (USESC), will follow successful 2012 and 2014 Washington, DC methanol policy forums with a new, 2017 Washington Methanol Policy Forum on June 13th at the National Press Club in Downtown Washington, DC.

The Washington Methanol Policy Forum will bring together industry leaders, energy policy experts, congressional and executive branch officials, academics and the media to share information about methanol's global penetration of the transportation fuel market and its implications for the U.S. economy. Experts from around the world will provide the most up-to-date information on methanol fuel blending around the globe. The event will feature a number of panels, including: Domestic Methanol Industry Resurgence; Global Methanol Fuel Blending Initiatives (both vehicle and marine); Public Policy Drivers and more!

Plus, there will be a special luncheon discussion with members of the USESC. Confirmed USESC attendees include: Robert "Bud" McFarlane, former U.S. National Security Advisor; R.
