BOSTON, Feb. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wellist, a patient experience solutions provider, today announced the addition of two key executives to the company’s growing team: Erik Hjortshoj, Chief Technology Officer and Sharyn Lee, Vice President of Growth. Wellist is also adding two new members to its Board of Advisors, Bill Huyett and Andrew DiMichele.

As Chief Technology Officer, Erik will provide executive leadership for product, technology and information security. His previous CTO experience at American Well and ShapeUp included strategic technical, health IT and product management leadership. Erik Joins Wellist from Burning Glass Technologies where he drove large-scale organizational changes across global teams while delivering Machine Learning and Big Data solutions to EdTech and HRTech markets.

Sharyn Lee, RN, MS, DHL, CHCP, FACEHP is a nationally-recognized healthcare industry thought leader in the areas of strategy, business development, sales, marketing and medical education and training. Sharyn was the Co-Founder and President of the Medical Education Broadcast Network, and led the company to recognition as an INC 500 awardee. She will leverage her deep relationships across health plans, academic medical centers and hospitals to drive growth for Wellist.

Joining Wellist’s Board of Advisors, Bill Huyett and Andrew DiMichele bring a wealth of strategic and HIT expertise. Bill spent 16 years in the Boston, Washington, D.C. and Zurich offices of McKinsey and Company.  As a Director at McKinsey, Bill focused on corporate strategy, product development and innovative approaches to commercialization and marketing in healthcare. Andrew DiMichele is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Omada Health where he developed the technology that drives Omada’s online program.  Andrew brings to Wellist his expertise in building high-performing engineering, data science and I.T. teams.
