Budgetary Impact Analysis for Executive Order Entitled “Ethics Commitments by Executive Branch Appointees”

Statement from Acting OMB Director Mark Sandy:
This executive order establishes new ethics commitments for every appointee in every executive agency appointed on or after January 20, 2017. Implementing this executive order would have no impact on costs and revenues to the Federal Government. It would have no impact on mandatory and discretionary obligations and outlays, as well as on revenues to the Federal Government, in the 5-fiscal year period beginning in fiscal year 2017. The agencies anticipated to be impacted by this executive order include all Executive Departments and Agencies, including the Executive Office of the President.
