Asia has been growing at an unprecedented rate over the last decade and their tourism industry is no exception. Since the Bali bombings in 2002 the so called by the locals 'island of gods' has made a remarkable comeback with over four million foreign tourists arriving to the small island in 2016 alone.

"Bali is booming" according to 'Wonderful Indonesia' the government approved and run organization for promoting travel and tourism in the country. This coupled with reports from the ground in Bali seems to be corroborated leading many to consider that perhaps Sophie Jones is "simply ahead of the game and knows where the health and wellness industry and retreat business is heading and setting up her place first" as retreat business consultant, Jerrold Halpin opinionated.
