DENVER, COLORADO, USA, December 8, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Good Earth Minerals, LLC (GEM) has hired Jeremy Usher as its Executive Vice President of Global Development. GEM is a CleanTech Company that produces and sells calcium sulfate-derived products as clean inputs into food production and licenses IP-protected advanced materials for industrial use. Calcium sulfate (CaSO4) is also known as selenite.

As Executive Vice President of Global Development, Usher will be responsible shaping the Company’s go-to-market strategy, and managing relationships with investors and customers for both EcoGEM and Selecor Technologies products. EcoGEM is currently in production and selling to food production and agricultural customers. Selecor Technologies is developing high performance, cost effective and environmentally sustainable products which solve a range of problems within the plastics, food packaging, automobile, aerospace, and pharmaceutical industries. GEM solutions provide alternatives to existing products that use a variety of plant, chemical, petroleum, and other environmentally harmful substitutes.

Mr. Usher brings 20 years of international experience in CleanTech companies across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Most recently, he served as Senior Technical Advisor: Alternative Technologies For Climate Information Systems for the United Nations Development Programme. Prior to that, Mr. Usher held leadership, business and product development positions with at Earth Networks, RivaBanca and Weathernews. Mr. Usher will continue to serve as Senior Technical Advisor: Alternative Technologies For Climate Information Systems for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
