NextGate Releases Latest Update to iDAS

/EINPresswire.com/ -- The updated iDAS (the intelligent Data Aggregation Server) platform delivers new capabilities to automatically link together patient and provider data, a centralized monitoring system and expanded data models

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwired - December 07, 2016) - NextGate, the leading healthcare technology company for patient and provider identity management, announced the release of Version 9.2 of its Intelligent Data Aggregation Server (iDAS), a multi-registry product suite that matches, aggregates, and links enterprise data to support insightful and truly panoramic views of patient centered care. iDAS masters and correlates enterprise data -- external to data silos and EHRs -- by building centralized source of truth registries of patients, providers, clinical documents, and events, and then defines their relation to one another. The version update includes enhancements to usability, system monitoring, integration, 3rd party software support, and most notably, an enriched Event and Relation Registry to manage the relationships across all data.

iDAS is a combination of NextGate products including the MatchMetrix® EMPI, Provider & Organization Registry, XDS Registry & Repository, Event and Relation Registry, and the NextGate Messaging Server. iDAS plugs in to existing transaction flow to identify, aggregate and link data so that end users can develop applications and information views from the curated data. Customer use cases include automatically mapping patients to their various providers within a circle of care; provider attributions to medical groups, ACOs, and service locations; notifications to primary care physicians upon a patient's admission or discharge to a care center; and data analysis to for population health management. The ability to aggregate enterprise data and derive relationship details automatically from current HL7 transactions provides significant improvements in operational efficiency and care decisions.

Released according to schedule, key new features include:

  1. An enriched Event and Relation Registry which defines attributes and manages relations between enterprise data elements and events, like patients, providers, organizations and patient visits, in order to derive curated and actionable information such as members of a care team, visit history, and admit and discharge notifications.
  2. A Management Console that provides a single location for administrators to monitor and control system performance, resource utilization and routes running across multiple NextGate Server nodes.
  3. An expansion of the Provider & Organization Registry data model.
  4. Additional alerting services for the NextGate Messaging Server (NGMS) regarding processing errors and notifications.
  5. Batch Adapter improvements to track record processing and bypass external applications.
  6. Support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (Standard and Enterprise).
