Alexey Miller and Israeli Ambassador to Russia Zvi Heifetz discuss potential cooperation

A meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Zvi Heifetz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation, took place at the Gazprom headquarters today.
The meeting participants discussed potential energy cooperation between Gazprom and Israel.
Background
Israel’s energy mix is comprised of oil (about 43 per cent), coal (27 per cent), and natural gas (30 per cent). Israeli proven gas reserves are estimated at 0.2 trillion cubic meters.
