Because flaws in the building codes mean that NZ buildings are only 60% of international standards. Ken’s boss demanded that this report put a positive spin in defense of the rattled earthquake engineering corporations who are tense and angry because the alternate media has been attacking their industry. Many have been accusing the corporations of designing new office buildings that are of third-world standard… Accusing the earthquake corporations of designing buildings that require demolition or major repair as the result of only a minor ground motion from the November 14, 2016 earthquake… Instead of complying, Ken Morris blew the whistle.
