Already available with Serial, Parallel, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity, Star Micronics has expanded its line of TSP650II printers to now offer a WLAN option, making it the perfect receipt printer for any mobile POS application. The TSP650IIWLAN is offered with Dual Band frequencies of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. 5GHz provides faster data rates at a shorter distance, whereas 2.4GHz offers coverage for farther distances. The TSP650IIWLAN also comes with the next generation of Wi-Fi standard - 802.11ac, with transfer rates 3 times faster than wireless N speeds.

For increased reliability, the TSP650IIWLAN offers a strong Wi-Fi connection no matter where it is located in the store or restaurant, and a fast print speed of 60 RPM (receipts per minute). The TSP650IIWLAN wireless connectivity is offered through an external Wi-Fi adapter and provides a simpler solution than the Star Wi-Fi Power Pack. The Wi-Fi adapter also includes a USB extension cable which allows for convenient placement and increased reliability.

In addition, the TSP650IIWLAN is fully compatible with Star Cloud Services' digital receipt and customer engagement solutions. With these services, retailers and restaurateurs can now offer their customers the option of using digital receipts through the Star AllReceipts™ app no matter what point of sale software they are using.
