CMHC to release its 2016 stress test results

/EINPresswire.com/ -- OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov 16, 2016) - In support of greater transparency into its risk management practices, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will release the results of its 2016 stress testing at 7:00am ET on Thursday, November 17^th.

It's important to note that these stress tests are not predictions or forecasts. Stress testing is an essential part of CMHC's risk management program and follows the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) guidance.
