OLNEY, Md., Oct. 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sandy Spring Bancorp, Inc., (Nasdaq:SASR), the parent company of Sandy Spring Bank, announced that the board of directors declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.26 per share payable on November 16, 2016 to shareholders of record on November 9, 2016. This is the sixth increase in the dividend over the last 16 linked quarters. The increase is $0.02 per share more than the dividends paid in the third quarter of 2016 and in the fourth quarter of 2015.
