/EINPresswire.com/ -- WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - October 26, 2016) - The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support intends to solicit for a full-line of produce support for Department of Defense (DoD) customer, including troops, and Non-DoD customers, including USDA schools, in Alabama and in the Florida Panhandle.

The contract will be a 100% small business set aside acquisition, and the anticipated length of the contract will be 4.5 year, made up of three 18-month tiers.

The DLA is anticipating the contract being valued at no more than $72,000,000 million, and that delivery points will require indefinite quantities of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the term of the contract.

The DLA intends to issue this solicitation under FAR 15.101-2 Low Price Technically Acceptable (LTPA). The resultant award will be for an indefinite delivery contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% of the estimated contract value.
